College/Pro Coaches attending our events in 2019

At Firecracker Baseball we are always looking for great baseball people to lend a hand, be positive contributing members and work our events.  We believe in building relationships with people in the community, along with providing a good positive learning environment for young coaches, professional scouts, travel coaches and sports management professionals looking to advance their careers.

Here are the positions we are currently hiring in 2019, including our new tournament evaluator!

The College Showcase Camp Evaluator is a coach that will help Firecracker Baseball evaluate players for college and/or pro consideration.  They will be within the facility and on the field to watch/evaluate players in their efforts to help further the player’s baseball career. This is a paid position, on behalf of Firecracker Baseball, LLC at the end of each College Showcase Camp.

The College Showcase Camp instructor is a coach that will help Firecracker Baseball instruct & evaluate the players at our events.  This staff, typically a college or professional coach will be on the field during our camp helping make sure the event runs smoothly by coaching and working a positional group (hitters, pitchers or infielders); taking notes and collecting data on 5-10 players per session. This is a paid position, on behalf of Firecracker Baseball, LLC at the end of each day of our college showcase camps.

The role of the Site Supervisor is an important one.  This person is responsible for representing the tournament at one of our fields/facilities for the entire event.  The site supervisor responsibilities include starting/ending games on time, keeping “the book” for each game, handling any protests that are launched, maintaining the field between games (if there is no grounds crew) or just about any administrative duty that would represent Firecracker Baseball in a positive manner. This is a paid position, on behalf of Firecracker Baseball, LLC, paid for for 3 up to 5 days during each event.

The Tournament Evaluator is a coach that will help Firecracker Baseball evaluate players for college and/or pro consideration.  They will be hired to work a facility for 1-2 days to watch/evaluate players in their efforts to help further the player’s baseball career. Their notes and analysis will be provided to our head of scouting for future All-Tournament Team accomplishments, recruiting notes, scout blogs and other accolades within our events. This is a paid position, on behalf of Firecracker Baseball, LLC at the end of each event/tournament.

Compensation for all our events is very competitive and helps us provide the best run events in the Northeast and other areas. Our compensation packages include being paid in full at the conclusion of the day or at the end of each event, provided a W-9 form is filled out prior to each event for anyone making over $600 for the fiscal year. Our coaches package will include hotel opportunities, paid compensation but no air fare will be provided in 2019.

Spots for each event are limited, please fill out the form to your right to be selected for each event. If you know someone who could be interested in working for Firecracker Baseball, LLC in 2019 at one of our events, refer them to our website and this form to begin the process.
