Graduated from Bishop Feehan in 1997 on a team that went 20-2 his senior year and won the EAC Conference. Mark was a pitcher during that time, and continued on at Salve Regina University playing 4 years and during his senior year won the Conference Championship and competed in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
After playing, he went into coaching at different levels, through the Pawtucket RBI Program, bringing his teams to the World Championships in 2001, 2002 and 2004. Mark has also been affiliated with American Legion baseball in Cumberland, RI and High School baseball at the Wheeler School in Providence, RI and at Bishop Feehan HS in Attleboro, MA.
He was named the Head Coach of the Coastal team for the prestigious Bay State Games in Massachusetts in 2014. He has coached over 45 players that have moved onto the collegiate level and 4 players that have played professionally in his 13 years of coaching.
Also during his time at the Boys & Girls Club in Pawtucket, he helped run various baseball tournaments with Pawtucket RBI and MLB through the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program, along with various basketball tournaments, including their annual March Madness tournamrnt that included over 80 teams annually.

Dennis starting playing baseball in 1996 at 5 years old.
In 2009, he graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, RI. He played 2 years of high school baseball where he was a relief pitcher for the Lincoln Lions. He also started the Senior Night game.
Dennis went on to play 2.5 years of college baseball at Utica College in Utica, NY before an arm/shoulder injury plagued him. As a freshman at Utica College, Dennis lead the team in strikeouts, groundball outs, and innings pitched. During the offseasons, Dennis spent his time training and coaching young players during Mark's summer camps at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, MA.
Dennis played in the Inaugural Firecracker Tournament as well as the second and third. From the fourth to the fifth, Dennis worked the tournament as an assistant to the site supervisors. During the sixth tournament, Dennis was a Site Supervisor at Seekonk High School before moving his way up to Co-Director.
On top of his duties as Vice President, he is also the Webmaster and Sponsorship Coordinator.
Director of Operations: Skip McCarty
Skip is currently in his first year as Director of Operations for Firecracker Baseball. Previously, he has served as Director of College Showcases, which he will continue to do in 2018. As a player, Skip was a 3 year starter at Duxbury High School, serving as Team Captain and earning an Atlantic Coast League All-Star spot in 1992, his Senior Year. As a coach, he brings over 20 years of coaching experience at various levels with him to the Firecracker, from Senior Babe Ruth, Legion, AAU, High School, and Collegiate Summer League. Skip has also served in a Directorial Role with Minutemen Baseball (2011-2012) and with RBI/GBG Hawks (2014-2016), and has worked various camps including the Dustin Pedroia Baseball Camp. In 2015, Skip was named Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Carver (MA) High School. Prior to Skip’s arrival, the Varsity Program had won 4 games combined in the 3 prior seasons. In the 3 seasons since Skip’s arrival, they have won 17 games, including winning 9 games in 2017, which was the most at Carver High School since 2009.
Director of Social Media Relations: Billy Young
Billy was a three year varsity starter for North Kingstown HS (RI). The southpaw posted a 10-2 record, even with missing his junior year to Tommy John Surgery. As a senior he was Division 1 All-Division player and was elected to the Rhode Island All-Star team. After his time at North Kingstown HS he moved on to play 2 years at Dean College (MA) posting a 6-4 record in the two years. As a starting pitcher his sophomore year he posted a 4-1 record with a 2.23 ERA, which was 23rd in the Nation for NJCAA which led him to be named First Team All Conference for Region IX. Billy is in his first year as the Director of Social Media Relations for Firecracker Baseball.
